REBEKAH CONRY
Commencing her formal training at the Western Australian academy of performing arts, Rebekah attained an advanced diploma as well as a Bachelor of Arts in 2 short years. Upon graduating she accepted a young artist contract with the West Australian Ballet which launched her professional career for the next 10 years.
Rebekah danced with the West Australian Ballet, Ballet West(USA), Les Ballet de Monte Carlo, Melbourne Ballet Company,she was a guest in Cirque du Soleil’s Saltimbanco and retired as the Principal of the Victorian State Ballet in Melbourne in 2020.
She danced many roles both classical and contemporary throughout her professional career, highlights include dancing Kitri from Don Quixote, Medora from Le Corsaire, Odette/Odile from Swan Lake and Russian girl from Balanchines Serenade. In 2022 she attained the postgraduate professional Dancers teaching certificate through the Royal Academy of dance and holds a registered teachers status. Rebekah is so excited to adjudicate for Stellar Dance Challenge!
SARAH BAKKER
Sarah has featured in many of the world’s most spectacular musicals across Australia, Broadway and London’s West End.
Sarah trained at The Dance Works, QDSE and The Young Con in Brisbane.
Theatre credits include The Phantom of the Opera as Corps de Ballet then Christine understudy (Australia), Annie/Roxie understudy in Chicago (Australia), Mary alternate/ensemble in Mary Poppins (Australia), Mary understudy/ensemble in Mary Poppins (Broadway), Christine understudy/ensemble in The Phantom of the Opera (Broadway), Ensemble in Evita (Europe), Young Heidi in Follies (Royal Albert Hall), Dance Captain/Peggy understudy/ensemble in Mrs Henderson Presents (Bath/West End), Milo Davenport understudy/ensemble in An American in Paris (West End) and Svetlana understudy/ensemble in Chess (West End)
